One night at Perth Dubstep
· Northbridge
The queue's already round the corner.
You hear the sub through the wall before you see the door.
A sample night
· Doors
In off the street.
Smoke machines going. The room's still filling up.
· The build
Every track a little heavier.
The lights stop being polite. Everyone edges forward.
· The drop
Wait for it.
· Front row
Close enough to feel the heat.
Flames every four bars. Nobody's going home.
· Lights up
Nobody wants to leave.
House lights on, ears ringing, the haze still hanging.
